The History of Bird Observer - Chapter 7: Smooth Sailing

William E. Davis, Jr.

Two substantial changes in leadership for Bird Observer occurred in February 2003. Terry Leverich became editor again—he had been the second editor and first president of Bird Observer—and Brooke Stevens became the president. Production editor Dave Larson, treasurer Sandon Shepard, clerk Barbara Lawless, and assistant clerk Jay Shettterly continued in their positions, ensuring a large measure of stability for the organization and its journal.
