The Massachusetts Avian Records Committee (MARC) was formed in 1989 for the purposes of evaluating, analyzing, archiving and sharing evidence supporting current and historical records of birds rare to the Commonwealth.

|Association of Massachusetts Bird Clubs (AMBC)||The Association of Massachusetts Bird Clubs (AMBC) is an alliance of bird clubs across the state with a mission to promote birding in Massachusetts, facilitate communication among member clubs, and unite to conserve birds and their habitats. Bird Observer has been a strong partner of the AMBC since its inception in 2016.|
|Goldenrod Foundation||The mission of the Goldenrod Foundation is to conserve and protect the coastal environment in Southeastern Massachusetts for people and wildlife.|
|Eastern Massachusetts Hawk Watch||EMHW is an all-volunteer, member-based organization whose mission is to promote the study, conservation and preservation of hawks locally and on a continental scale by monitoring migration in Massachusetts; to share data for research and conservation purposes; to promote education and awareness of the identification of hawks and the issues related to migrating hawks and to instill an appreciation for hawks in general.|
|Northeast Hawk Watch||The NorthEast Hawk Watch (NEHW) is a registered not-for-profit organization established and run by volunteers to increase awareness, appreciation and protection of our daytime birds of prey. They do that primarily by promoting hawk watching, the study of hawk migration, throughout New England, eastern New York, and northeastern New Jersey.|

|Manomet Center for Conservation Sciences||Manomet’s mission is to conserve natural resources for the benefit of wildlife and human populations. Through research and collaboration, Manomet builds science-based, cooperative solutions to environmental problems. Manomet sponsors the International Shorebird Survey, the longest-running citizen science study of shorebirds.|
